More Full of Embarrassment Than Creepy Mansion, Saturday Afternoon

Derek had listened to radio this morning. Which meant Derek was hiding in his house to avoid the vast amount of judgement out there. Well, okay, mostly because he had The Issues. But everyone knew that.

And that would be why he was glaring at the kitchen to figure out what the hell he needed to angrily stress bake until this all blew over.

Spoiler: it involved eating chocolate chip cookie dough. He lived on the edge.

Derek sighed, looking away.

"I want. I don't know. To prove to myself that even in that position you wouldn't--you're not going to actually hurt me," he said, eyebrows bunching up in concentration.

"I wouldn't," he said. "But I guess I understand needing reassurance."

Since Derek was being honest, Stiles decided he probably should be too. "I'm not sure how good I'll be at that...whole thing. Not the the not hurting you thing, that part will be easy. But the whole...other thing."

"We don't have to do it," Derek replied quickly. "If you don't like it, we won't. I'm sure I won't like some things either."

Like Stiles and his interest in threesomes. He was onto you, Stiles!

He was just saving that spot for Lydia just in case! Sheesh.

"I said I'd try it," Stiles said. "It's just that sort of thing needs some firm boundaries, man. When we get to that I need to know how far you want me to go, what's off limits."

Derek frowned at that. "I don't know. I was interested in," he said, choosing his words carefully. "Some of the tying up. Maybe."

Wow, was this ever hard to talk about without feeling both deeply embarrassed and ashamed.

"I could definitely be into that," he said. "Though you and I both know I couldn't really tie you down."

"I'd just have to keep myself from breaking out," Derek said, looking up at that. "It'd be more about control."

"Ah," he said with a nod. "Yeah I can definitely get behind that. Literally."

Ha.

Derek had to sigh at that. But at least it got the moment to be less awkward.

"What about you?"

"What about me?" Look he can be avoid-y too, Derek.

"What's too far for you?" Wow, it was terrible when someone was being avoidy. AND YET DEREK DID NOT SEE THE IRONY.

"I...don't want you to be too submissive," he said slowly. Those were the terms they were supposed to use, right?

Probably. But they weren't very good at this to begin with.

"Okay," Derek replied, thinking that over. You were gonna get some slow, tender love making for that, Stiles. "That wouldn't be a problem."

TENDER LOVE MAKING.

"Good," he said with a smile. "We'll play it by ear for the most part. I just want you to enjoy it."

'Cause some part of Stiles felt like Derek was doing all this for his benefit.

Derek smiled faintly at that, leaning in kiss the corner of Stiles' mouth like that would keep things safely PG. "Idiot."

Stiles smiled and and looped his arms around Derek's neck so he could kiss him again. 'Cause no PG wasn't as fun.

Derek snorted in amusement, a little more relaxed about letting this happen with only a week left before graduation. As evident by slipping hands down Stiles' hips to hook under his thighs and lift him onto the counter.

See, that display of strength was really freaking hot. And it wasn't really doing anything to make Stiles pull away. He did smile against Derek's mouth before kissing him again.

"I like this," Derek mentioned, moving his hands up to cup Stiles' face. Since they were sharing things.

"Hope so," he said. "Kind of planned on doing this a lot."

"Understood," Derek replied, raising his eyebrows playfully.
