After the super fun times of the weekend, Derek had needed to turn tail and run take some time away from Fandom. This meant apparently dragging Jack away for 'camping'.

It was totally some werewolf bonding.

Yes, that is what Derek was going with in this instance. Because it made perfect sense. On the plus side, fresh air that had no trace of any pollen out here!

Derek prodded at the camp fire, trying to get it large enough to cook over. Well, make s'mores.

With this mystery alpha attacking people, Derek had needed some back up. Or, at the very least, someone who was more versed in detective work than he was. Which meant pretty much anyone but him.

Derek had repaired the hole in his house since the last time it had been the full moon, and had attempted to make one of the rooms more secure for a new werewolf. Which amounted to more chains and a few pieces of wood.

Look, he was a werewolf and tended to scare off the This Old House style shows at the hardware store on the mainland. This was the best you were going to get.

( Which is sad, because This Old Werewolf House would be an amazing show. )
