It's Creepy If You Squint Mansion, Thursday afternoon

So, it was Thanksgiving and Derek--shockingly--was not in a social mood. Because he was an outgoing social butterfly on most days, you know.

That would be why he was eating Chinese food and watching whatever movie marathon he could find on TV. More accurately he was picking at the food and looking morose.

Family based holidays were no fun for him.

And Derek responded by flicking a few pieces of rice at him. Maturely.

"Ugh." Sure, that earned Derek a grossed out face, but after a moment Stiles decided it'd be a shame to waste rice. So he lifted up his shirt to lick off the bits of rice on there.

Yeah, nice going, Derek.

Ugh, the legit worst, Stiles.

"You're disgusting." With your bare stomach and treasure trail.

[robinonadderall]

"You're the one that threw rice at me," Stiles said, putting his shirt down. He wasn't sure if that comment was directed towards the rice eating or the state of his body. "Deal with the consequences."

It was directed at everything. Everything.

"And that shirt is probably filthy."

[robinonadderall]

"It was washed!" he said. "Well it's your shirt so I assume it was washed."

[justlurkinghere]

"I don't know what you've done since then."

[robinonadderall]

"Nothing gross," he said defensively. "Besides it's my mouth; I'll put it wherever I want."

STILES. RETHINK THIS.

"What?" He refused to take back his questionable statement!

[justlurkinghere]

"Seriously."

[robinonadderall]

"Yes, seriously," he said. "I'll lick all this Chinese food and claim it as my own, don't think I won't."

[justlurkinghere]

"No you won't."

Don't make this a challenge. Oh god.

[robinonadderall]

"What makes you think that I won't?" he asked.

[justlurkinghere]

"Because I won't let you." This was not going to end well.

[robinonadderall]

You brought this on yourself, Derek. "This" being Stiles practically diving for the Chinese food so he could attempt to claim all of it.

So, yeah, nice going.

"Damn it, Stiles!" Derek shoved his fried rice to the side, hooking an arm around Stiles chest to keep him from making a mess.

[robinonadderall]

"Don't dare me then!" Stiles struggled some in Derek's hold, reaching both arms out in an attempt to at least grab one of the cartons. It wasn't going well. "This is cheating. You're cheating right now."

[justlurkinghere]

"How is this cheating?" Derek snapped, wrapping both arms around him now that his food was safe. And then picked him up with ease. Sorry he wasn't sorry about his magic werewolf powers.

[robinonadderall]

"This whole thing is cheating!" he said, using one flaily hand to gesture at their current position. "I can't do this to you, so cheating."

And not at all an awkward position to be in! Really.

"I'm sorry you have the upper body strength of a twelve year old girl." Derek, that was rude.

[robinonadderall]

"Hey!" Stiles wriggled around, trying to turn enough to give Derek a glare. "Uncalled for!"

Derek smirked at him, dropping his hold suddenly.

Stiles made a noise that was most definitely not a shriek when he dropped. He at least landed on his feet, but his thrown off balance made him fall right into Derek.

Why must they flirt like children?

Because they had a combined maturity level of about eight years old.

There was that.

Derek snorted at the noise, only reaching out to stabilize him. Only for that.
