And the fact that gift giving had been banned for financial reasons. Which was just ridiculous.

Someone was so going to have to clean up the couch after this. And, let's be real, it was Derek.

Stiles relaxed against the couch, doing his best to pull Derek down on top of him. For more cuddling.

Derek shamelessly nosed at Stiles' shoulder, breathing in deeply as he settled in a spot that wouldn't crush Stiles beneath him.

He let out a contented sigh, rubbing Derek's shoulders lazily. "Great Christmas."

"We picked a good one." A beat. "Way better than most of our beds."

"The one upstairs has managed to survive."

"Trial and error." Because Derek had bought enough of them.
