Creepy Old Mansion on Phoenix Way, Sunday Morning

The morning after another full moon with extra werewolves in town was clearly the best time ever. And by 'best time ever' we mean 'Derek wanted to murder everyone involved'.

But that wasn't all that different from usual.

So. You know. Congrats on surviving the full moon and here's to hoping you survive the morning after?

"Yes." He eyed Alcide for a moment. "Do all of you change completely?"

"Yep. We've got the were-coyotes and were-lynxes and foxes and stuff, too," he offered. "And then there's the shifters but we don't spend much time with their kind."

"Right." That was weird. They just had lizard people who needed to be controlled in a pretty freaky manner. "Only the--packleader can change completely where I'm from."

"Huh. Yeah, only the bitten do the halfsie thing, like y'all, but we don't usually run with them," Alcide said, thinking about it. Snob.

"Really?" That was certainly different.

He shrugged. "There's a hierarchy."

"We have that too. But bitten or born doesn't matter." Other than knowing more about everything. And even then, being born wasn't a guarantee about being more knowledgeable.
