Could Be Creepier Mansion, Thursday Afternoon

Tomorrow was the lunar eclipse and Derek had plans on how to get through it. Plans that did not involve incomprehensible plots or getting beat up by a crazy Druid because 'that was his special ability', thanks.

Plans that meant he was getting ready to bake. It involved a lot of glaring at the ingredients before he started out with the measuring.

[[Open! Specific brownie type NFB. Warnings for cannabis! That's right, I'm calling it that.]]

Mike had noticed this. Sometimes.

"And what are you baking?"

"Brownies for tomorrow." Which was the full moon. And marked on every calendar in the house. "It's an eclipse."

Oh, Mike had been making note of full moons on his own calendar for a year now. So, he knew.

The eclipse thing was new, though.

"And... that calls for brownies?"

[justlurkinghere]

"Yeah." Go with it. "Eclipses are the only time I'm like a human."

Being a born werewolf and all.

Mike shrugged his shoulders as he actually made his way into the kitchen instead of lurking in the doorway. Everyone knew that was more Derek's thing.

"Still not seeing a connection."

Derek sighed. "The only time of year drugs affect me other than poison is the eclipse," he replied, digging out the plastic bag of pot he'd purchased on the mainland. "Laura and I tried alcohol, but it's disgusting."

"... So you're making pot brownies?"

He looked pretty amused by that, once he'd figured it out.

"Pretty much."

Oh, werewolves when not in constant peril.

"Okay." He still sounded like he wanted to laugh. "That's a little unexpected."

It was all to make up for his horrible life. "You can have one if you want."

A beat.

"Don't let Stiles near them."

Just in case.

Mike's amused expression... just kind of turned into another kind of amused expression. "Stiles is a teenager, isn't he?"

And Mike was generally a responsible dude. Just not necessarily in this area. Because he'd given half a bottle cap of liquid G to Adam because he wasn't old enough to drink yet. So not a full cap!

His drug judgment wasn't the greatest.

"Stiles' dad is a sheriff and will arrest you." After shooting Derek.

"Would he know?"

Would you tell him, Derek?

If asked, he might panic and confess, yes.

"I'm not giving him drugs." That would make things even creepier. Hard to image, yes.

"Well, it's your choice," Mike replied, still a little bit amused. A little bit. "I'm not about to start dealing for him, don't worry."

You better not!

"Last thing he need is Stiles high." Picture, Mike. Picture it.

"I'm having a hard time picturing that as anything but how Stiles is usually," Mike admitted.

"He was very touchie on the pain medication." Very, very touchie.

Now picture Derek on drugs.
