Derek had on an eyepatch. It wasn't willingly, but he was just leaving it where it was. Because the last ten that he ripped off just reappeared on him a few seconds later.

Fandom was a special place for the full moon.

He huffed, glaring at the basement of the place. Anyone coming would know to come down here, so no point in waiting upstairs.

Plus side? Puppy Joe had a jaunty pirate hat that he was chewing on. Awww, that looked gross.

New wolf. Hmmm. Jack wandered over, all but sniffing the air as he offered his hand.

"Hi, I'm Jack," he said, a bit of a wary note in his tone. "I will take a guess you're a new student."

"Isaac," he said, shaking Jack's hand. And being kind of weirded out because Derek said to stay away from him. "And yeah. I'm from Stiles'...I guess universe is the right word. Universe, timeline, whatever."

"Oh good, so you already know how this works," Jack said, wondering if he was detecting some hesitation in Isaac's handshake or if it was just his paranoid imagination. "Did they warn you I'm from a different world altogether?"

"Ah, yes, he said to stay away from you," Isaac said. "He actually said to stay away from you without elaborating on the whole different werewolf thing at first so I actually thought you were some kind of a psycho for a minute there."

"He's Derek," Jack shrugged. "Of course he's not going to give all the useful information at once. The world might end. Anyhow, no, I'm not psychotic. Just a wolf."

"I'm sure you're not the scariest wolf I've seen," Isaac said. "Shouldn't be a problem."

"Depends how scary the wolves you normally hang out with are, doesn't it?" Jack asked. "So, how long have you been one of us?"

"Less than a year," Isaac answered. "And if you don't have the power to take my memories and implant new ones I'd say I'm pretty confident that you're not as scary as other wolves I've met."

"It'll be two years in January for me," Jack said. "Also, that's the craziest thing I've ever heard. And no, I'm not that scary."

"Good," he replied. "Because I just got done dealing with that and I'd rather not do it again any time soon."
