Derek had on an eyepatch. It wasn't willingly, but he was just leaving it where it was. Because the last ten that he ripped off just reappeared on him a few seconds later.

Fandom was a special place for the full moon.

He huffed, glaring at the basement of the place. Anyone coming would know to come down here, so no point in waiting upstairs.

Plus side? Puppy Joe had a jaunty pirate hat that he was chewing on. Awww, that looked gross.

"Scott said it'd be a good idea." Because he didn't want Derek thinking Stiles was the boss of him.

But for some reason was okay with Derek thinking Scott was the boss of him.

Derek's jaw went tight for a moment before he nodded in understanding. "Just stay away from Jack."

"Because he's a different kind," Derek replied dryly. "And is more apt to take a bite out of the stranger."

"Good to know," he said. "So do you have a creepy place to lock people in or is it just going to be a free for all in here?"

"The only one who gets chained up is Jack," Derek ground out. "If you have the control you say you do, then I don't need to watch you."

"I don't need to be watched," Isaac confirmed. "Making sure I had an anchor is the one thing my old alpha did right."

Isaac nodded. "He offered it to me to get me out of a bad situation. That was...less than a year ago?"

"Yeah, well, couldn't really take our time when there's someone or something trying to kill you every five minutes in Beacon Hills."

"A strong pack will do that."

"I guess." Isaac really had not had a good experience with the whole pack thing thus far. "That whole thing is new. Not really sure of the whole pack parameters there."

Derek gave him a look that implied he straight up didnt understand any of them for not wanting a real pack. And there was the emotional kidney punch of his being a big ol' omega on his own.

"Quick subject change, but why was Stiles asking me if scent-marking was a thing on the way here?"
