It's Creepy If You Squint Mansion, Thursday afternoon

So, it was Thanksgiving and Derek--shockingly--was not in a social mood. Because he was an outgoing social butterfly on most days, you know.

That would be why he was eating Chinese food and watching whatever movie marathon he could find on TV. More accurately he was picking at the food and looking morose.

Family based holidays were no fun for him.

"Scott would." Because Scott wanted to believe his OTP was real. "I think I could get my dad believing it too."

Because the sheriff owed Stiles some no questions asked believing.

Derek looked deeply distressed by this. "Don't tell your dad that."

Stiles rolled his eyes. "Dude, I'm kidding."

"I don't need to be arrested again."

For his illegal-in-California-but-not-here thing. That was morally reprehensible and filled with guilt.

Stiles gave Derek a long look for that. "My dad doesn't arrest people because they've been accused of being adorable."

"Maybe." HE WASN'T EXPLAINING THIS.

"You're ridiculous." Seriously.

"I thought I was adorable."

[robinonadderall]

"Ridiculous and adorable," Stiles said, reaching to get an apple pie. "You can be both."

"You're you're just a ball of charm," Derek shot back maturely.

[robinonadderall]

"I am, aren't I?" He pretty much ate his apple pie in one bite which was oh so charming. "You should be very thankful to be spending your Thanksgiving with me."

"That was disgusting."

You charm was vast, Stiles!

"What was?" And there was now pie crust all over the front of Stiles' (Derek's) shirt.

Derek rolled his eyes, brushing the crumbs off under the guise of shoving Stiles back against the couch.

Now who was getting touchy, Derek? "Do you think I can still go into a Thanksgiving turkey coma even if I don't have turkey?"

IT WAS CRUMBS.

Derek leaned back against the couch too, dragging a takeout box of fried rice with him. And hey, if that ended with his shoulder against Stiles', that was just some weird fluke. "If you eat enough, yeah."

[robinonadderall]

Oh way to give Stiles a stupid fluttery feeling in his stomach, Derek. "I don't think that's going to be a problem. Just keep me from falling asleep in like a pile of lo mein, okay?"

He'd probably just sleep on Derek instead.

Damn it, Stiles. Damn it.

"And there's that class again."

Stiles just stuck his tongue out. More class!

And Derek responded by flicking a few pieces of rice at him. Maturely.

"Ugh." Sure, that earned Derek a grossed out face, but after a moment Stiles decided it'd be a shame to waste rice. So he lifted up his shirt to lick off the bits of rice on there.

Yeah, nice going, Derek.

Ugh, the legit worst, Stiles.

"You're disgusting." With your bare stomach and treasure trail.

[robinonadderall]

"You're the one that threw rice at me," Stiles said, putting his shirt down. He wasn't sure if that comment was directed towards the rice eating or the state of his body. "Deal with the consequences."

It was directed at everything. Everything.

"And that shirt is probably filthy."

[robinonadderall]

"It was washed!" he said. "Well it's your shirt so I assume it was washed."
