Derek had woken up at his normal time despite the holiday, wandering down to the kitchen to make coffee for the day. Because coffee.

And the fact that gift giving had been banned for financial reasons. Which was just ridiculous.

So, instead, he was going to make bacon. A lot of bacon. Hopefully that would lure Stiles out of bed.

The smell of bacon did have Stiles stumbling down the stairs a few minutes later, looking bleary but happy. "Hey. Merry Christmas."

Derek leaned over to give him a kiss on the cheek. "Merry Christmas."

"How much bacon did you make?" he mumbled, heading for the coffee.

"...not much." He'd already eaten some.

"Uh huh," he said, knowing that was a lie. "Thanks for breakfast."

Even if it would kill them of heart attacks.

"You'll eat ramen if I don't feed you." And it was gross.

He smiled. "That's true. Don't act like you don't enjoy cooking for me."

"You're so lucky," Derek replied. "And I have to do something if I can't get you a gift."

Like a new computer.

"You don't have to do anything," Stiles said. "It evens out since I'm not getting you anything either."

"But Christmas." Maybe Santa brought something. "Next year I'm wrapping random things."

"Next year we're gonna be broke from spending money on wedding stuff."

"Then I'll rewrap wedding gifts for you to open."

"You're ridiculous," Stiles said, kissing him on the cheek. "It is possible to celebrate Christmas without presents."

"That sounds like a lie," Derek replied, curling his arm around Stiles' waist.

"Did my heart stutter?" he asked.

[justlurkinghere]

"Sure." Liar, liar.

[robinonadderall]

"Liar," he said, kissing Derek's jaw. "Full moon's tonight."

And Derek was fotced to tilt his head to allow Stiles more space to kiss. "It is." He wasn't as crap a werewolf as some, you know. "Do you have that on your phone calender?"

"I do," he said. "Gotta keep track of when we have wild full moon sex."

"And it's a Christmas miracle?"

[robinonadderall]

"It will be if you wear a Santa hat during it."

[justlurkinghere]

Derek laughed at that, ducking his head against Stiles' shoulder. "Do I have to call you Blitzen?"

Stiles chuckled. "No, definitely do not call me that."

"Donner?"

"No reindeer names," Stiles joked. "That's weird even for us."
