Derek was looking for a booty-call house investment property in the Maryland area for cutting down on all those hotels. Yes, a house was somehow the better investment. Just don't ask why rich people do these things. Or why Teen Wolf characters do anything. Just accept it and move on.

On one hand, he wasn't looking for an abandoned shack to lurk in. On the other, he hadn't hired a real estate agent to keep him away from the really shitty properties yet.

That would be why he was looking at a house that had probably been very nice fifty years ago. And frowning at the listing. "This says it has character."

"Just when you want," Derek shot back, carefully pulling his jeans back up.

"Well I'm a bit more level-headed when it comes to judging what will or won't get us arrested," he said, reaching for his own jeans.
