The morning after another full moon with extra werewolves in town was clearly the best time ever. And by 'best time ever' we mean 'Derek wanted to murder everyone involved'.

But that wasn't all that different from usual.

Derek stared at him awkwardly. Because internet connection was just silly. Really now.

"...right," Jack nodded, and rubbed at the bridge of his nose. "So, we perhaps could use someone with access to Google."

"I don't need to learn about werewolves on the internet. I grew up as one," Derek snapped. "And I can ask Laura anything I might not know."

"Fine," Jack said sulkily. "Then I might have questions when you weren't around, all right? Or something might come up when you couldn't speak to Laura."

Jack. Jack. Don't say things like this to Derek.

He looked stricken for a moment at the idea of not being able to contact Laura before frowning all those pesky emotions away. "Then fine. Contact him."

Dammit, Jack hadn't even met it that way.

He bowed his head briefly. "Thank you," he granted.
